Anyway no concrete plans for June. I kinda would like Maul to do something heroic like save someone from danger to prove he CAN be good when he wants to.
WingsOfCover
: Oooooo, yes! Definitely, he will protect people and also eventually smack D for being dumb when it comes to dealing with blood thirst. He's already had to deal with several people dealing with this and IT NEVER ENDS WELL!
CERTAINTY
: That would be an awesome way for things to turn out between them for that thread! Stunning her long enough so he can use his powers would work if we want to have him forcibly remove some of her corruption.
yeah! it'll definitely be a pretty close fight especially if maul isn't going straight for the kill, but he can definitely stun her and drain her corruption (which is making her stronger and faster too)
It'll be a challenge for him as well since he's so used to being on auto-kill mode but he's been trying not to kill anymore Sleepers. So that'll get him to fight creatively.

Doing a write-up for Maul's catch-all and I was wondering if I could set one of the prompts at Raleigh's greenhouse trying to pull corruption out of the soil?
Hmm, you know, if Maul saves Tory from a monster but gets a nasty gash from the monster in the process, this could be a good time for Tory's third power to show up. (it would heal him)
FightingSpirit
: Ooooo, that would be awesome! Especially since he'd be all "No no, I'm fine, don't do anything!" And also yes, teach him yeet, he will then yeet people during fights for fun.
Tory doesn't even know she has that power yet, but basically it turns back time on specific occurrences, like an injury, an object breaking, etc. The only thing she'd offer to Maul outright would be some bandages & rubbing alcohol to clean up the injury and keep it from getting infected
FightingSpirit
: Yes, I like that idea a lot! He'll be glad there's someone else in town who can possibly heal him when he's been dumb. SNERK, everyone afterwards goes to her and is like "You've created a monster here."
We still have to get Jacob into Maul's nightmares. Also, is there anything in particular you had in mind for what might be a good way for Jacob to deal with nightmare!Palps? Because I do have some ideas I was tossing around
I figured he'd start by just trying to beat up nightmare!Palps, but then realize that's not going to work because it's Maul's subconscious fueling it, and Maul subconsciously believes Palps is undefeatable (at least like that).
So he's going to have to start the process of turning nightmare!Palps from this Lovecraftian horror that Maul's mind has built him up into, back into just a man - or better yet, just a child throwing a tantrum.
Because that's all he is, compared to the Force that he tried to impose his will upon - someone insignificant, who can't do lasting damage to something that's been here so long before him and will be here long after he's gone and will crush him just like it did the Jedi. In the grand scheme of things, he's nothing, and he will be forgotten by history.
He knows it, and that's why he's trying to do so much harm to the galaxy now, and why he's so envious of Dathomir's Force traditions, the ones that go back even further than the Sith, the ones that Maul is part of.
Jacob figures that's going to be an important link to make in Maul's mind - that he's part of something that has its beginning and end far beyond Palpatine.
Ooooooooo! I LOVE THAT IDEA! Because yes, so much of Maul's subconscious thoughts about Palpatine was created when he was a child so part of him is still stunted in that childlike fear of not wanting to upset his abuser and seeing him as this larger than life terror.
