He's a NY republican who was endorsed by the NRA in 2020,

He said he would vote for:
a ban on weapons like the AR-15
minimum age to buy high powered weapons to 21
limiting or banning high capacity clips
banning body armor for civilians

"I guess there's just something markedly different when it happens in your city, to people you know." I'm glad he changed his mind, but why does it take something like that to get people to change their minds? And frankly, as nice as it is that he's changed his mind, there's no way in hell he'll get re-elected there now.
