Oh right, in case I didn’t mention it on Plurk (I don’t remember what I’ve said lately), I have Covid. So far it mostly feels like a bad bout of bronchitis with a cross with the flu, so I’m pretty used to dealing with and treating all of this.

I have a brand new albuterol inhaler, which I got just before all of this to help with asthma and allergies, and that helps. I have lots of liquids, though I think that I need more Gatorade/Powerade in addition to the water and tea. I have a cute humidifier in my room.

I am not really feverish, but I also tend to not run fevers, so that’s normal.

But apparently the email and paperwork that I sent in to HR didn’t quite make it all the way to Crew Scheduling due to it being the weekend, so I was still marked down to start a trip today, which I found funny because I am woozy as hell.

I was also scheduled to teach a new flight attendant!! Which I felt really bad about because she reached out to me days ago and was really eager and polite and I meant to reply to her and coordinate things and then I meant to apologize to her and I didn’t until last night.

So yeah, had to follow up with Scheduling for me today, and I also followed up with IOE scheduling, and it looks like she contacted them last night as well and they got her sorted out. Yay.

especially since I already have a good number of the issues from the long term scale - like breathing problems. yay for asthma for...pretty much as far back as I can remember!
