COME ON I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO SHOW UP AND MOW OUR LAWN AND ALSO TO NOT TRY AND SCAM ME OVER THE PHONE

I got a call from a scam center yesterday. Went through most of the process to figure out what would be needed for mowing and maintenance, got to the part where I was going to pay, and every alert in my brain went off and said, “Something’s wrong!! Something’s up!! Do not continue!!”

So I went, “Hey, something’s come up that I have to take care of, can you email me the quote and information?” “Oh, we only do this over the phone. You can call back later, but you would probably have a different agent...”

Yeah, ‘cause this is over the phone only. Totally. I believe you. Oh well, guess that I’ll just have to “call back later”!

Ran a Google search on the phone number, and it was some random place in NY.

Yeah.

Oh yay, a dude finally showed up and things will be mowed on Tuesday. (I fucking hope)
