S2 E2 'Rose', and they cast a 6'1" Scotsman as Bruce Wayne. Not sure why they didn't get the 6'2" Irish-American, but at least they're physiologically similar. The art department's a bit odd with hair colour and such, though.
Their Slade Wilson's a terrific actor... who's about half a foot too short (and I think they even have him in lifts).
The guy they hired for Hawk is a find, though. He's built like a brick Watchtower, he can sing for real (not that that's relevant, but it's nice) and he's got loads of charisma.
It took them three seasons to put Kory in anything like a work uniform. Mind you, it took them 90% of S1 to get her out of what looked a lot like a hooker outfit.
OK, you know how I said The Boys is 'despicability porn'? They've managed to make Titans, despite a generally excellent cast, just plain unlikeable. Not unwatchable, but unlikeable.
One of the things they're doing that I actually get to like is giving Beast Boy's actor a chance to show off his expert-level martial arts moves. Ryan Potter's stepfather is this guy:
...exactly how many people know the Batman's secret identity at this point? All of the Titans are casually referring to 'Bruce' in front of everybody - capes, cops, civilians and crooks.
I gotta commend them for hiring Savannah Welch - she's a real amputee instead of putting a green sock on a two-legged actor. I wish they'd fixed her hair, though.
Donna is either a Patriarchs'-World orphan, or a magically-created duplicate from a mirror, or moulded from clay because of idiot revisionists having to make Diana into Yet Another Zeusspawn because the world needs more of those.
Finished S3, which still had gloom and cruelty, but seemed significantly less pointless and more super-hero-y. Still has a handful or so of inexplicable / unexplained stuff (continuity error type things), but a little easier to overlook.
I don't even know what Donna's backstory is anymore. I'm still not fundamentally opposed to the idea of Diana as a demigoddess, but there are plenty of other deities.
Her original Titanic storyline had her brought back to the Titans' place of exile to become Coeus's 2nd wife - his first, Phoebe, was killed in some way I can't remember. https://www.theoi.com/... Ironically, they're using the Roman spellings instead of transliterated Greek in the comic.
The current, post-52-patriarchal-disaster-version, is they gave Diana's proper origin to Donna. They've as much as ruined the story and significance of the Themysciran Amazons at this point from what I've seen.
Their Slade Wilson's a terrific actor... who's about half a foot too short (and I think they even have him in lifts).
In better news, Iain Glen is seriously earning my respect. He is a reasonable stand-in for Kevin Conroy, for when Kevin is not available.
[headdesk, with vehemence] Amazons may be inherently magical, but nobody's ever said - nobody with a brain - that they weren't human.

That being said, 2nd gen characters are Blue Beetle, Aquaman, The Question, Superman (part of the time), all the Robins, Wonder Girl x2...
