St. Haint
Belated review: I liked Doctor Strange 2, but man a lot of people just aren't going to like it.

St. Haint
It was VERY Sam Raimi while not being nearly as "horror" as promised.

St. Haint
The only Sam Raimi trope I noticed missing was Ted Raimi (though I may have missed him)

St. Haint
I liked the universe jumping and could have stood for more of it, though I imagine running time was a limitation there.

St. Haint
There was way too much CGI for my taste, but that's a Marvel movie problem.

St. Haint
I think we could have gone much darker, but it feels like there was an attempt to balance the darkness with the usual Marvel "feel" and it left the movie kind of in limbo.

St. Haint
In the end, if you were looking for a Marvel movie or a horror movie you'd end up disappointed either way.

St. Haint
I was just looking for a Sam Raimi movie with Dr. Strange in it, so it worked out.

St. Haint
The movie also seems to be pissing off conservative or just douche bag comic book 'bros' and that is a good thing. It features a latina hero with lesbian moms. Choke on it.
