ive had another busy work week so: kamui navel gazing to get the groove back a lil

first of all im in love with andy

secondly this thread is making me think about kamui as... an immortal... which i have not considered so much as the timeloop; unless he gets killed or someone takes his eye out, he's here never aging from his current physical age or dying

and THE JURY IS OUT on whether it is possible for him to live a very long time without getting killed because trigger happy suda51 canon, but. if he makes it, he goes from the sort of enclosed groundhog day immortality thing to actually having to not die ever, which... fucked up. baby immortal. that sounds so lonely

the only actual example we see in canon of somebody abusing this is the mayor in the silver case who kills one of his sons and steals his identity in order to continue being mayor forever lol and HE DOES DIE but who knows. kamui's pretty op. maybe he'll make it

(i look away from suda saying travis is immortal due to video game mechanics because i love it but also how are you supposed to justify that outside of video game logic)

in this next month or two i think i really want to start breaking him open LOL just starting to leak out little bits of backstory to people so it starts to become obvious how not normal he is

in spite of himself and the stuff that's hard the normalcy in this game is refreshing for him. he likes everybody. In his head he is still waiting for the one day the other shoe will drop, but he's enjoying it while it lasts

"Travis is immortal because he's in a video game" is the most Travis thing I've ever heard

suda dropped it in a post nmh3 interview with no lead up. i hate him

Suda51 says No More Heroes is "no more" but Shadows ...
