but also, idk how it didn't hit me until now that Finn's "you don't know what I've seen, you don't know the First Order like I do." line could easily be said by Bri (she's certainly thought it, at least the first part, on more than one occasion in a thread)
kinda sad the one time I got to try that ship the line didn't last long and I never saw that journal again. I think there's interesting stuff there, in that Finn is really the only person who would have any real clue of what Bri might have gone through and vice versa. and just being able to empathize with enduring that environment
(related, when tossing her in the 'looking for a trio' meme I amused myself thinking of Bri/Poe/Finn and the thought of both FO defectors being drawn to Poe)
