i'm open to a lot of subject matter but i'm generally suspicious of 1) comedians and 2) extremely slick production values. there's kind of a point which every true crime podcast turned out by a venture capital podcast start-up just kinda feels the same.

but yeah when it comes to history podcasts i know some people find him too dry and academic which is fair. but i like things more dry and academic than that.

yeah, duncan has developed into a solid popular historian. but revolutions is ending, which is one of the reasons i need new podcasts.
