[work/lgbt+ related] So today this middle schooler spent two hours trying to convince me she didn't like this girl and it was cute watching her get flustered while she explained
I'm cracking up cause she was so seriously trying to convince me that towards the end she went "I'm straight yep straighty is me" Classmate from across the room: NO YOU'RE NOT Me: trying hard not to laugh
as with all my jobs I work around conservative and religious people that I don't reveal I'm bi just an ally so now the kids know I'm the one who goes "hey, if that who you like I'm not gonna judge" so now I've become the person where they'll call me over and go "um, I have a crush..." lol it's cute
That's so wonderful! Kids really need to have someone like that in their lives, and you're so sweet and positive that I'm sure they feel really comfortable with you. How cute.
my coworker probably didn't like it (while she supports the kids alone she'll tell me it's adam and eve) cause I ran into the student at the end of the day where she went "No! Stop!" cause I had been teasing her throughout the time I watched her class hehe
then at the end of class her classmate that yelled across the room called me over and went "She likes her, doesn't she? I don't know why she doesn't tell her. She talks about her all the time."
I love her so much! She didn't like me at first, until I told her "hey, I support you!" now she'll call me over like "She likes her and everyone can see."
Me: takes a sip from my drink
Her: MISS!
