SO i got a big thick steak instead of a roast because my crock pots are..... small

browned it up REAL NICE and got it in the pot, deglazed the pan w/chablis and sauteed garlic and onion and then put all that into the pot

added carrots and a thing of "mixed petite" potatoes i had, added dry seasonings

then in the sautee pan i added 1c water and a bunch of worcestershire sauce and some red miso paste

cooked it enough to dissolve the miso paste and then poured that into the pot over the dry seasonings, lid on, turn on, leave it for the next like 8 hours

the chuck steak i got was really nice and marbled so it should just fall apart once it's done :9

i hope it is!!!!! the trick is to wash your meat and dry it VERY THOROUGHLY first because you want it to brown properly
