[Nintendo] I'm dumb but also smart. I lost Google Authenticator when I updated my phone.

So I couldn't log into my Nintendo account

but there's a "backup" codes option

BUT I had no fucking clue of what those were

or where to find them

so I searched in my email

and nothing came up

but then on a whim I searched for "Nintendo" on my laptop and a .txt named "Nintendo backup" came up

AND THERE THEY WERE

i've shut down 2 factor authentication for now and i have pokemon home again

on my phone

i'd already emailed support for help, but then i helped myself

brains are so dumb tho, this was a Problem my brain latched on to for a solid 3 hours, and I was unable to focus on anything else for the duration of what it had registered as an Urgent Crisis.

Pokémon is vital to your mental health, your brain knew what was up.

I'd say it wasn't fabricated at all, an authentic crisis for sure.

I just wanted to set it up again so I could offer ᴘɪᴇs + ᴠɪᴏʟᴇɴᴄᴇ some pokemon. Which I then completely forgot to do until just now.
