something i think a lot about the ubw anime original is that like. without rin's mildly unhinged internal narration it takes away a lot of her character and turns her into a more basic tsundere, and they even deliberately play that up
it's interesting to me how like. exploring how fate/zero fucked saber up actually reconciles the pretty major differences in character between her zero incarnation and what she's like in fsn
