Went to a local health fair today to get my A1c checked. I'm between doctors (around 6 months now) and fighting my blood sugars. My doctor, decided to sell the practice and didn't tell anyone... or maybe I didn't get notified. I don't know but I really liked that doctor! Stuff was happening, but I still preferred going there. Anyway, my A1c was 7.6!

I so thought it was going to be way worse than it turned out. Of course I still need work because they want it at 7.0 or less being diabetic, but my last one was 11.0! That had to be some time last year (I think). I've had to reschedule so many times I've forgotten. But glad to see my efforts have paid off. Now if I can just lose some weight and exercise.

I also had trouble getting my meds these last few months. Which I could not believe but I've finally got all those refilled and have been working on my diet again. I guess I was just not watching anything to get that 11.0 back then.
