Sort of. Hernando- who fears nothing- and Jorge - who feels nothing- are kinda a coping mechanism for him whenever there's something he needs to do that he doesn't feel able to face. They're not split personalities, but they let him distance himself slightly by putting up a front, which makes facing the scary/awful thing a bit easier.

Jorge, in case you're wondering, is him with a bucket on his head. X3
