A convo with dad on Sunday led to me falling down some kind of rabbit hole today

it started because I caught like a minute of The Connors after the show we had on the DVR, and I saw DJ for the first time, and went: "Oh, damn, he definitely looks like the same person"

like it was a genuine surprise, and then in the first few minutes of Welcome to Flatch, it came to our attention that Seann William Scott has grown into his face:

like, he was never particularly awkward, but:
it's definitely an 'oh, you're an adult now, cool'

Whoa. Stiffler is a good lookin' middle aged guy! Never expected it

because a lot of child stars of 'my era' just... don't look the same at all.

the only other one I can think that does is JGL

and much like DJ he's just a case of 'oh yes, that is what you look like as an actual adult'

you can almost still see whatsername from Full House in the Olsens, but not the same way you can with DJ and JGL

actually, no, two hours because Roseanne was one and whatever Star Trek was another, BUT, my point is, I was startled by the fact that the kid looked the same and Stiffler grew into his face even without being particularly odd to start with
