so, like, he felt bad when he tricked someone who wanted to be his friend and tried to kill her when her back was turned, but he also did it in the first place because he thought it was the morally correct course of action
he feels worse about getting Bugbear killed than he has probably felt about anything else in his life, ever, and isn't sure if it was the right thing to do, but not doing it would have felt even worse and more reprehensible to him
Reim doesn't really think about his own death in terms of what will happen to him when he dies nearly as much as he thinks about the consequences of his death for the people around him
he doesn't WANT to die because if he does then he can't do things anymore. this is enough that he has a pretty strong will to live, but it's not quite the same feeling as being afraid of dying
he would not call it worse than death but being permanently completely deaf would really fuck with him tbh. maybe if he were deaf and also his memory and mental faculties were degrading
she tries honestly really desperately to emphasize her useful points so she can get at least a little approval in that regard but even those points I don't think she would consider 'things others like or admire about her'
