i've never watched those movies because the dog dies, do they show the dog dying or is it just implied?? i really want to watch them but i can't handle dog death

it's one of those where they don't SHOW the dog being killed, just a very tiny out of focus in the distance kind of thing... but the rest of the movie is worth watching the fucking revenge, all the movies show a bunch of love for dogs, but that's the ONLY critter death
