Who's watching the new season of Mrs. Maisel ? I'm REALLY enjoying it a lot. Also, the most recent episode was extra good imo. I loved the cameo! George pointed out that the camera work this season is above and beyond too.

It's much more dynamic and cinematic than previous seasons.

Lenny Bruce is so so so good in this.

But yeah, we're loving the new season.

What else has the LBruce actor been in? I have developed such a crush.

YESSS, I love him. I kind of want her to end up with him tbh. Luke Kirby has done tons of stuff but not too many big roles or big films/shows. He's in the latest incarnation of Gossip Girl but I don't see that being your jam. Maybe The Deuce? Here's his imdb page

ok, so i watched the first episode shortly after breaking up with Matt, and it was kind of triggering for me. does the show get less "oh my god a horribly sad breakup" ?

It was so good but the season was way to short.

tormentedcorpse : it goes way beyond a sad breakup. if anything it's kinda motivational she kinda kicks life's ass and does it her way. even if she has rough patches.

I love Lenny Bruce! The whole cast is amazing but I like him a lot.

I keep forgetting I started watching this but the "new episode released every Friday" is throwing me, so I go watch something else and then forget I am watching this and also The Expanse and also Pam and Tommy Lee

tormentedcorpse : I'd agree with Heather. There's definitely challenges/obstacles etc but there isn't a huge emphasis on relationships for her once you get past the first season or so. It's actually kind of empowering. Some fat phobia stuff which is the show creator's mo for some reason, but it's just mild stuff grand scheme of things.

And PS, even within the first season, it's not like SAD breakup focused for more than a few episodes here and there. She's a tough cookie.
