[pet health] hrm. Something is up with Zack, and it's hard to say what

as a refresher, Zack is our dog who can't use his back legs - he was born with the back legs messed up somehow, so he mostly kind of hops when he runs.

But apparently throughout the night, he was yelping, and he keeps doing so today... but we can't nail down what he's responding to?

My grandmother thought it was his ear, but I was able to touch it with no problem. I thought it was his chest this morning, because he yelped while barking and then again when I touched it.... but that hasn't happened again since

like, literally just now I was able to pick him up to put him on my bed, so????

And my grandmother is reluctant to take him to the vet because of the costs

(to which i'm kind of like.... i mean if that's how you feel, then maybe stop adopting old disabled dogs, because it's kind of obvious they'll likely need a good bit of care...? but i digress)
