some fights it's like. wow this is laughably easy, others are just so obnoxious

and like the TP system make things easier in some ways but also makes having any magic user on your team a pain in the butt

and i said this on twitter but the whole game just feels like it's trying real hard to be FFT and just. falling short of what made FFT good in every aspect

they have this really gorgeous character art, but for a game that is mostly cutscenes you only see it when you're fighting and even then only at the bottom of the screen. like wtf

also the random narration between sections is so unnecessary

it's trying so hard. the choice mechanic is good tho. I just came across the first vote where I didn't get the result I wanted
