Inagaki did a huge post-series interview, and I was hoping for some bad reddit takes.

There was neat nerdery things

Most character designs were Boichi's, with Inagaki's imput

Senku's hair is like it is because that was on Inagaki's storyboard

Gen was designed by Boichi

Ibara was faithful to Inagaki's design, but Boichi completely redesigned Stanley

Inagaki thinks Gen's two-toned hair is either natural or caused by the petrification, he kind of said both answers at different points, but ultimately people should ask Boichi

There is an actual timeline that he has, but he was super vague about it on purpose.

So how old the characters actually are is up for debate, although with the vaguehints, Senku would be 28-35ish

He said he might think about putting it in the character book

He wanted a more sedate final chapter, but when he saw Boichi's huge setpiece for Senku's project he was like okay we'll do it your way XD

The Z=chapter number is a reference to atomic numbers

All the cracks, from the idea of them to their placement came from Boichi, so if you want to know where Ukyo's is, you have to ask him XD

Inagaki thought all the speculation about Whyman was very interesting - an the first person to guess the identity was his editor

Not to mention all the character questions he answered which was super fun and why I thought there'd be a lot of bad reddit takes to enjoy
