do y'all have any good ways to extract a splinter that's too small to see because i am gonna fucking die

i've tried baking soda, vinegar, glue, and blindly poking with tweezers

doctor isn't really an option financially and i couldn't see it with a magnifying glass either

things I have done at the situation described: use a pin to just stab out a chunk of the top level of skin at that spot

Or some other small, sharp object. Just sterilize it first.

the splinter is wood, it's from a cheap chopstick

well, i'm about to do the dishes so we'll see if having my hands in water for an hour does anything, and if it doesn't, i'll contemplate options (including put a bandaid back over it and ignore it for a few days because it's fine with a bandaid on)

update: after about a week of being in there, it finally exited of its own accord
