[arceus] i've gotten to the point where all i need to complete the pokedex are a few pokemon lines only found in rifts, the legendaries, spiritomb, unknown.... and cherubi

i have found one (1) cherubi in 131 hours of play. and, eager as i was to complete the cherrim research quest and arrogant in the possibility of easily finding another... i evolved it too early

i have since found PLENTY of cherrim! i've seen 8 leap from trees according to the pokedex

in fact when i'm trying to find cherubi, guess who tends to show up instead!

i went through each zone pokedex one by one and filled them out and cherubi has been TAUNTING me since the obsidian fieldlands

at this point going wisp hunting is a nice break from trying to get a damn cherubi to spawn

try the shaking trees near the alpha lopunny (or reload the area if they're not shaking)

yeah that's what i've been doing

the rng gods just have it out for me ig

funny enough I had trouble with cherrim JUST BECAUSE I ran into a glitch!!! where cherrim was immune to being caught!!! I wasted so many pokeballs before I was like "I CAN'T be this unlucky" and found the issue online

(the bug is fixed now)

hysterically i shook a tree in that area and a FEMALE COMBEE fell out

yeah i heard about that glitch!!

not as funny as the glitch I had that just removed all wild pokemon from the world

which is not patched

(I reloaded a save so I'm not stuck with that)
