To be fair, some of them might be man-hating TERFs who are furious anyone would be interested in men or stories about men, but who fawn over anything related to women
Some are definitely people who'd be homophobic about any same-sex relationship, but TERFs who hate anything related to men will quite happily hold media about men or mlm to a way higher standard than anything about women
I'm wondering if they meant that as in "people who are fetishizing queer men" but I most often see this kind of objection raised by people who dgaf when women are fetishized in media by men so it's still just a way to hate on women
