There's something so satisfying about having Godzilla do these normal ass human gestures and then whenever he has to speak, it's some variant of kaiju noises.
While live action would be AWESOME, the logistics and special effects would be daunting. I mean, dozens of people clambering on the backs of military dragons? Jumping between them for boarding attempts?
Honestly, it's just a really good world where dragons have always existed and the east and west have very different ways of dealing with giant sentient dragons. (and other places, too)
