[DA2] honestly I find the Arishok a really interesting character

I find the Qun extremely interesting too, and the fact that almost every character takes issue with it

everything about the Arishok is straightfoward: he needs the tome and cannot leave without it. The entire city going mad around him when all he and his kind were doing were hanging out invites his disgust

I admire him for how dignified and powerful he is as this arc's villain

and how alien they all seem in comparison to everyone else

Meredith is pretty interesting as a villain too seeing as she was built up over the ingame years, but I'm not at her yet

overall tho I can see why people would turn to the Qun if you're lost in this world and don't know your place in it

bc the Qun has a ready made place for you somewhere in it
