I recently looked it up on a map and saw it was very close to U of Toronto, Casa Loma, and the heart of the Downtown. I’d thought that $400/mo rent was too much!

: It was a 1 bedroom apartment with a bonus room in the basement in Toronto, $400/mo, in the early ‘90s. My last apartment had 2 bedrooms and was a 5 minute walk from school, for $200/mo in the early ‘80s. Where I am now is a 1 bedroom, $1700/mo, everything included. Crazy!
In the early 80s I was earning less than $3/hr. When I retired in 2003 I was earning $18/hr. Now I’d be making about $30/hr. I’ve given some thought to going back to work once covid settles down.
oh wow that sounds really high, or is it normal price range in that area? oh! 30/hr sounds quite decent actually! when this all comes to an end, you should give it a try!
Make It Great!!!
