Ye! I made a plurk about this the other day too; I'm looking forward to it and plan to drop a little on the (already funded) KS once I get paid, though I'm a little ??? at using Kickstarter for... trying to build a community around the game?

Yeah, they even say they're mostly funding it internally. I think they know people will still throw money at them/pay them for bonuses.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was primarily to help fund the bonus stuff.
