a sketch of another irregular polygon grid - this time with nonagons and pentagons around tetrads in symmetry group p4gm.

to plot it out properly next to check how it's going to look before, probably, doing a prettified version for upload.

not much idea what that means, but would like to see, when it's done.

made negligible progress due to an excessive number of interruptions from all directions today.

done a lot of trigonometry and algebra, though, to establish the sort of tweaks to the layout I think will make it look best.

to start plugging the numbers into some of my custom software next to build up the art from the current rather minimalist template of points.

to tweak the edge stars some more although the initial polygon boundaries looked quite good.

with the regular (and semi-regular) polygon grids all this is intrinsically settled but for irregular ones it's about finding the "best" compromise on the shapes.
