[fitness] every time I try to do a split squat i am just a little teeter totter trying not to flop sideways and embarrass myself 😔

put a line of masking tape on the floor 5 or 6 feet long and walk along it heel-to-toe a few times

calf raises might help, too, they'll strengthen your ankles

do you have access to a bosu ball? that's what i use with my trainer. you just flip it on the wobbly side and do workouts on it

there are so many various Eastern European squats lmao. my people... they are good at squatting

you actually just do regular exercises!! like curls and stuff. you just do it on the ball and it naturally works your balance/core

just be careful bc if you're not used to it getting on and off you might fall haha. but if you have a wall it'll help you get on!!

I suspect for the motions I'm trying to do my thighs just aren't strong enough yet either but I'm gonna try improving my balance too. I know a lot of it comes down to core strength too
