Got to watch the first two episodes of TheLegendofVoxMachina, which is a highly compressed version of what I believe is their first major adventure as a team.

For those not familiar with Critical Role generally, there is a major clue to upcoming story in, particularly, the 2nd episode; some heavy teasing to Vax and Vex's backstory in the 1st episode; and the set-up for the main storyline of the rest of the 1st season.

I cannot fault them at all for plot compression for the sake of pacing.

Debating whether to sign up in time for the watch party on Friday.

It should be hilarious, but possibly not the best way to see the show, unless they run the full episodes and talk about it after.
