to explain, I'm applying for a job at a painting studio that wants me to come in for a painting audition on Monday, and also to bring in 1-2 examples of my work

and since I don't HAVE any recent painting work, I decided to create some

my arm is sore but I'm very zen

I may need to get a better palette though. or something that can serve as a better palette. what I have is mostly like.... watercolor palettes

I need something flatter.

I may ALSO need a new tube of phthalo blue, because the lid cracked on my only tube of it and the paint inside is now an extremely viscous paste

and I'm pretty sure the phthalo is what I want to mix with the alizarin crimson to get the hue I want
