[real life] A dear friend & writing partner has disappeared. Her last post on social media was a week ago. I've left messages on several different chat platforms, left a phone message, and no response.

To say I am worried during a global pandemic is an understatement. I know that mom in the UK is not doing well and I just I don't know what to think.

I've lost several people to this damn pandemic. If my friend doesn't want to write with me any more I can understand that, that's cool. I just her to be OK. worried no how matter how hard I try not to be.

I can understand that, especially with everything that's still going on. I hope she gets back to you soon and let's you know everything is alright!

I hope that you find out soon too.

Update: She did ping me late last night. Such a relief!
