Fuck Game Pass.

You know what’s great with Game Pass? How big games only are on there for a handful of months and then are removed without any warning, even their leaving soon section never provides a date, so you’ve got that extra bit of FOMO funneling you to the store to buy the game at a slight discount while you can.

That’s it, that’s Game Pass’ model. Or to put out half baked first party titles that people will write off because “iT’s FrEe”

No it’s not. You have to pay a subscription! That’s the opposite of free!

(Yes multiplayer is free but I have Some Feelings about the campaign that infuriate me)

Look, I like gamepass enough that I convinced myself to buy a Series X. Gampass is not a valid excuse for all the shitty stuff Microsoft/Xbox does.

Because they’re also gonna monetize that shit to hell and back. Halo’s “free” multiplayer is one of the most insideously designed I’ve seen IN YEARS.

Gamepass sounds good, in theory, especially as a way to try out games first but...yeah :v

Just a casual note that I basically refuse to pay for ANY subscription service that isn't to a specific game.

And that specific game is FF14.

I got two years of it with my Series X and I’ve found it a continual frustration point
