( Gaming ) QUESTION FOR MY LOVELY PLURKLINGS! Does anyone play Sea of Thieves? Or have an Xbox/Xbox Game Pass and interested in trying?

I miss sailing with a crew...

it is, because you're running it through the microsoft store (also Xbox and most of your windows things are microsoft)

but yeah, It's a cross platform, I can play on my Xbox but you can play it on PC and we can sail together. =) I've heard the controls as a whole are actually easier on the PC keyboard too. lol

THEY HAVE A BRIG THAT THREE PEOPLE CAN SAIL TOGETHER I mean three people can run a galleon too in reality

Boats in the game
Sloop - 1-2 people
Brig - 1-3 people
Galleon - 1-4 people

=D

and you can have closed crews - meaning only people you invite can join your crew - or open crews where randos can join your team (I usually sail solo if I don't have friends)

you also just have to be okay with assholes on the seas occasionally. Some people are a little toxic, and REALLY SUPER INTO PVP and will kill you even if you have nothing to steal

because while you and your crew can be set as closed - the world can have up to four other ships on the server with you and there's no telling how those people will be as iwth all online games

not to say it's not fun! You just have to ...not get upset because people are jerks. >.>

I've met some nice people on occasion

but like, the last time I played I parked my boat at an outpost to sell my stuff. (and accidentally scraped my boat along the beach tearing a hole in it) So as I'm hoping up to grab my chest, and hoping to the island to sell it my boat is slowly filling with water. starting to sink

as I sell my last item, I turn around and there's this dude on my boat, bailing and patching it. and my brain went, oh cool. He's nice.

I got on the ship to try and offer him the supply crate because I was done for the day, and instead of being nice, he killed me

and started to steal my food and stuff from the supply barrels of my ship (which was going to offer him mind you)

so I logged out which auto despawns the ship and sinks it so he can't touch the supplies in the barrels
