I think he'd first have to be convinced that he'd done something wrong... XD Everything's about him, so he thinks he's in the right, no matter what horrible things he did.

A lot of characters don't think much of him so mostly real. But some slights that he'd also inflated in his own mind.

Loki gets it, that can be hard, but it does pay off. if you identify problems you have and work on them, you stop hating yourself so much

He just thinks people should give him respect and praise him and his tech and since it hasn't happened on the grand scale he wants it to, he's frustrated. And that frustration feeds on itself when he's so selfish.
