[Domestic Animals] Eliza had a hard day today.

You see, since it was Epiphany the day before yesterday last night we undecorated the Christmas tree.

This made her suspicious and unhappy but it wasn't until today that she got really mad.

My folks /took the tree out of the house/

No more tree!!!!!

Mom had to come find me and get me to come upstairs so Eliza could show me that the tree was gone

And I could affirm her right to feel her feelings and give her pats

Before she could process it and stop being so distressed

Right now she's curled up against my back. Snoring.
