“DRK is bad” is a meme that only looks dumber and dumber with each passing week.

in like literally 99% of use cases, the Classes literally do not matter.

In the top 1% of content right now, DRK, GNB and WAR are within about 100 DPS of each other on average, with PLD slightly behind them.

the arguments are just so... so stupid.

Yep. Even with their supposed “bottom” damage, PLDs will do fine.

Now it’s backpedaling to just “DRKS ARE BAD IN DUNGEONS THOUGH”

Just because they don’t get a benediction every 25 seconds like WAR doesn’t mean they’re bad guys, you just don’t know how to rotate your cooldowns

NIN had fundamental, real issues that needed actual mechanics adjustments. just like the savage .05 patch last xpac

SMN had an issue that they literally lost potency when getting Phoenix at 80.

Those are ACTUAL problems and why they got. You know. Addressed.

SAM has highest melee PERSONAL DPS, Reaper has highest DPS accounting for raid buffs.

Because they have them.

SAM doesnt.

Yet I’ve seen so many salty SAMs calling for RPR nerfs because of. Something Samurai can’t and never has been able to do??

Dancers probably have the only real legit damage grievance I think at the moment. They hit softer because of their buffs but it seems like they overcompensated there this time with the stat squish and they’re just wet noodles.

otherwise everything is technically viable, it just depends on how well you play it

I mean frankly the SAM changes are excellent quality of life.

Now we can actually do iaijutsu at max melee distance and not have to always be In The Fucking Hitbox.

Oh yeah especially with that being a channeled cast, that will help them a LOT

God forbid the tank has to pull the boss one way an inch mid cast

I do think I’m gonna give SAM a fair shake this xpac. Not feeling MNK, RPR’s a little TOO simple for me so far, if fun.
