[vidya gaem?] we found this weird ps2 controller adapter. anyone have any ideas what it might be for?

My only guess is it was for putting really old-timey computer mice or keyboards in the plug and then putting that into the ps2 to convert it so you didn't have to buy an "official" mouse/keyboard.
