oh, btw: is it me or did star platinum get weaker?

Writing-wise: Jotaro isn't the main character + less plot armor
Lore-wise: Jotaro might have not seen much action + got rusty + old age

I remember in Part 3, when Star Platinum is supposed to be strong (smash diamond teeth) and fast enough (catch bullets) there are times Jotaro gets surprise attacked (like a running truck).

hmm...good points there. i guess not using it frequently kinda makes your stand rusty.
and yeah, he had a tough time deflecting bullets and his time stop only last for about two seconds compared to Part 3 and 4. :3
