bff tried valiantly to get me into Arcane, and I was only half paying attention

so far the only thing I've really liked were the hoverboard air pirates

in theory in another universe I could see being interested in the bad guy, there's like. interesting surprises in the backstory?

at least the really weird faces I was starting to get used to. I still absolutely hate how they're designed, shaped, shaded, they're just so off to me

but it started to get to be like. a background thing

her predictions were for me liking victor, silcoe, and maybe jace, and predicted I would hate jinx

victor is just gottleib from pacrim. that's him. jace she thought I might like "because he's a dumbass like church". he is not a dumbass like church he just is bad at social saving throws and insight checks. he's high int meh wis. he's a good boy just a little too good. a puppydog.

a puppydog who def was about to commit suicide which was def a darker turn than I thought it would take.

me: are you...sure bc it's been 100% a kids show so far down to the kid character archetypes and plot beats

silcoe has like I said some interesting tidbits in his history. annnnnnd that's what I have to say about him

I liked the police sheriff with the recognizable voice. oh and I like the robot councilor bc he's a robot and that's fascinating bc apparently magic wiped out his people

(and yet Furry Gremlin Headmaster thinks he's the only one that knows shit about magic. okay...?)
