Mr. Paw started to cough a little when I was kissing him goodnight, my first thought was "oh no he is gonna throw up" We've been together nearly 22 years and he's gotten sick maybe 5 times.

Next he noticed it looked like all the lights were off (we leave one on at night) my first thought is "someone broke in and turned the light off to be sneaky." I warn him as he goes to check and he starts laughing and says "yeah I can't come home without dogs barking." he is right of course.

the door curtain was just closed tighter than normal so you couldn't see the light from bed.

With the luck we've had with the new light bulbs we got I should thought it burnt out but nope I got worst case scenario.

I know what you mean, whenever I'm in bed and I think I hear something suspicious from downstairs and for a sec I'm like.. some is breaking in? or IN already? Then I remember that a leaf can fall 50 miles away and George would hear it and bark. There is no way ever that anyone could break in or even try, without George going loudly insane.

Barkers are handy to have at times.

and I hope Mr Paw is ok and gets over the cough fast, that's rough.

isle : I'm not sure I'd ever feel as safe without my dogs. if is soothing to know they will be loud!
