Sounds like how I used to go to celebrate fourth of July with my best friend. Every year in June.

There's no way I could get any time near Christmas off other than the actual stat holidays

tbh any amount of "we don't want to put proper measures in now" will get us shut down over christmas

they just lifted an... odd choice of measure that was not actually addressing the main source of spread there

they had this thing where you could see your family at places where money was changing hands but NO VISITORS if it's at home even if everyone is fully vaccinated

and it was going to be okay for me to fly in from out of province but not for him to drive two hours down the highway

"Christmas is saved"actually meant that my brother could come on Sunday rather than anything that will occur Christmas Day
