I'm gonna play DE anyhow but I don't think I'll go for the role.

I know others who are better and I don't really think I can work that right now, although it's be sweet as hell.

I thought about it, I have complex feelings about ostensible dream jobs

i was blown away to see that they had an opening but i would absolutely say that 1) there may be others later on!! and 2) DE is 100% an experience worth letting percolate quite slowly

also backread a bit and highly approve the instinct to wait for a better headspace to play, it can be pretty rough especially the first time... god knows it was for me, i had to take a break for about a month when my mental health tanked, and ngl i think DE was a factor in that BUT

weirdly enough, the subsequent playthroughs i've done have brought me only unmitigated affection and joy for the setting and characters maybe because that for me was really the time to appreciate the worldbuilding on its own merits

I wanted to submit a resume but because the job looked like a dream gig on paper. I'm not actually in a good place to start a role like that, so I don't have to binge, but I still really want to play.
