Nnnff, talking about thoughts of buying a house, I'm now thinking that perhaps I should look into that sooner rather than later :x

The complex that was to the east of mine was torn down and is in the process of undergoing construction into a new high-rise. (Honestly it's a miracle I can't hear the construction more)

and NOW the complexes to both the north and south have big ol' signs up going "NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ABOUT REZONING THIS SPACE AS A HIGH RISE"

I'm gonna be surrounded by high rises sprouting up on all sides, like that part in the Disney short 'The Little House'

so I'm sitting here wondering "okay, so how long until they decide to sell THIS complex and I get renovicted, too?"

and if that's the case...well frick, I might as well just get myself a house or condo instead

except for that damn terrible market
