Had Robertus go work on it, he got a normal result and enough boxes to remind me of its gimmick: it's on good results - and at QC0, which is reached through bad results and 2nd trumpet alerts
Its escape information is locked behind a cost of 1m boxes, which is literally impossible iirc, which is another reason I love this guy so much: fucking with the game system itself to establish its threat is so good
I thought at first, well, maybe I cleared out of Second so fast the music never queued up, but when I ended the day, First was the only one marked on the timeline
So now there are two blessed: Robertus, who got a good result while working a meltdown on it; and Camille, who was summoned to its cell for no good reason
HEY I BEAT GREEN NOON I just had to have the entire facility clump up and target one at a time. Wove past them in door transitions, went ham when they occasionally went dormant
Basil got himself blessed because Plague Doctor had a meltdown, but never had him grab anyone today. That's three...gotta get some equipment that doesn't take double damage to pale somewhere...
new agents! This is Daniel, she's like an inverse Badatkke in that she and her family lived in the Backstreets until she won some kind of lottery/giveaway and won a brand new home in a Nest! ...Minus any continued means to help all its upkeep costs, so she went and applied for jobs and, well, here she is
She is...well. Distill "teenage fangirl" down to its basic stereotypes. She never grew out of that, save that she's not stuck on aesthetics. Stoic and mysterious dudes with tragic backstories? She's all over that.
she hates the "hero rescues the helpless girl" trope most because she's so unconfident she feels like she'd be the helpless girl and that's not a good feeling
this is Elena, and they're so crowd-shy they read the fine print saying they couldn't leave until they'd served two months of work had been completed and still signed on.
Being in a crowd of people has already begun to feel more like security than danger for them, now that the whole facility has had to gather in one spot to defeat giant symbolic - but still deadly - robots of doom
...Plague Doctor, once a full day has been worked with him in the facility, will swap cells with something else on every load, so far divorced from the in-game flow of time that he doesn't care if a day was ever truly begun.
New Abnormalities appear to be moved into their cells the moment you click Begin Management, though; your newcomers will always be in the next open slot(s)
this one's today's newcomer. I remember her name is Laetitia and her gimmick is that whoever works with her is stuck working with her and only her for the rest of the day, on threat of death!
upside: I have discovered attachment is best for her! downside: she's on meltdown and Robertus is in bad enough shape from their last session one bad series of rolls could leave him dead or insane if I send him back
Two more blessed today: Genie and Space. If Doc Ominous manages to make it up to 11 people with no adequate gear in sight I'm definitely resetting to day 1 to buy some time instead of waiting on that last 12th
On a funnier note, nobody has been given Laetitia's gift today so far, because they're just too good - they keep getting good results and her gift is only given out on a normal
Well, Space, Badatkke, and Robertus are my first grade 5 agents, so they could walk into most Aleph-grade abnormalities' cells without taking a sanity hit
these two are filling in the voids in Information and Training, and they don't really trust people in general. If they survive a run to the lower layer they'll find a nice home under a Sephirah who also is at odds with everyone else.
...restarting day because I forgot to take the new department into account when maneuvering people out of major rooms for Violet Noon and lost a whole department :/
Next to breach: Ppodae, and I'm going to gather everyone in his hallway so he doesn't just kill a clerk and return to his cell himself because that's not suppression
Okay, Woodsman gear obtained. Nothing There is queued up for the next empty abnormality slot - I don't have many people who are capable of working him but the sooner I start gathering high-end gear, the better
(I filled out Training today, so Nothing There has no cell to live in yet, so I have some time to patch up those stat holes and get multiple people working him)
Bad news: Woodsman makes, ironically, a very very good Temperance trainer...so there's nobody left who's capable of working him. We get one work session and that's it, so I'm saving it for a meltdown
nvm, learned the hard way that ending the day counts as a "return item" order for the whole facility - and one of my best, you know, one of the few that could feasibly help handle Nothing There - had just picked up Behavior Adjustment, which kills anyone who tries to put it back before 30 seconds have elapsed since they took it
sucks, had a great day with lots of stat promotions and a mission clear for Hod and Netzach at the same time, and then at the very end I accidentally kill one of my best guys so it's all for nothing
downside: she's on meltdown and Robertus is in bad enough shape from their last session one bad series of rolls could leave him dead or insane if I send him back
