[FFXIV] A couple small observations and speculation re: the launch trailer

One of the first shots in the trailer, during the opening sequence in Limsa's port, is this one, depicting Momozigo from the Samurai job quests walking up and chatting up Milala from the Rogue class quests.

There is a strong implication that some of the job quest characters may not be long for this Star

This may suggest that the old job/class quest NPCs may actually show up in the main story?

Yeah which is cool

Which would be cool, I'd be all for that

I appreciate that they've been doing more with the NPCs like Oboro showing up in Bozja even if I find him to be extremely uninteresting

If so, is THIS Curious Gorge?

It's not Curious Gorge's armor

but it's clearly a Warrior and the armor fits his general aesthetic

On another note, at the end of the trailer, int he scenes with all the Amaurotians and Zodiark, we hear two distinct speakers: one who says "There must be a way to restore things to the way they were! To reclaim the perfect paradise we once had!" and another who says "It will be ours again! A world free of sorrow!"

The first line appears to be spoken by Fandaniel (possibly pre-Sundering, given his current attitude) while the second speaker is unknown

Possibly, given the way his line echoes Elidibus saying that his 'heart's sole desire is a world free of sorrow' right before transforming into the Warrior of Light, this is the person who Elidibus swore his forgotten oath to.

But what's interesting is that this line appears to be unique to the English version of the trailer.

Both the Japanese and French trailers just have the first speaker's line go on for longer (and I think it's a different line, too)
