her message included the offhand "I know you guys are juggling a lot..."

woman....my mother is dying. I am not Thankful. I am not thinking about holidays. and I'm sure as hell not spending it anywhere that isn't by my mom's side (time willing) or with my step-dad (if things follow the expected timeline).
