he has a very no nonsense style of how he teaches which like. is good in some ways but sometimes also feels like he wants a very specific performance out of a scene which I guess is ultimately what directors want anyway so it's good training in that

but also like phew. sets every nerve jangling

definitely feel like he's the most exacting of the coaches I've worked with so far but also is definitely the most well known of all the coaches I've worked with so far

and also I imagine if I had more regular sessions with him some of that intensity would feel less intimidating with familiarity
